| How to Order |
Below is a carving of a face I did on the corner of a stick. I use a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" basswood stick. You can learn to carve faces by just using the corner of a stick...it's the perfect shape for a face. The tools I use to carve this ear are a #3 1/2" Gouge, #9 3/8" Gouge, 1/4" Veiner 1/8" V Tool, 3/16" V Tool, , and my knife. The more you practice the better your faces will get. There is no magic. Just lots of practice.
