Stubai Woodcarving Tools

Stubai tools are manufactured in Austria by highly skilled tool makers and craftsmen.  Stubai is a top of the line tool which consists of the finest steel, hand forged and shaped.  The tool is formed by separate top and bottom dies cut to the exact shape needed.  Each sweep has its own grinding wheel...this guarantees the proper sweep.  The tools are hardened to rockwell 63 then annealed down to 59 to 61 creating ideal flexibility and hardness.  All tools are tempered for the entire length of the tool.
